2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor

STARTS AT $26,000

WHAT IS IT?
Midsize crossover V6 SUV, positioned below the popular and very cool Montero. Keeping their promise to build more and more vehicles in the U.S., this is the first vehicle completely designed and built in Illinois as part of their “Project America.”

THE DAY

These South Dakota January days are perfect for test driving crossovers, SUV’s, and all wheel drive vehicles. As you can see by the photo, we had opportunity to drive on some snow, which can happen here, and the Mitsubishi all wheel drive system performed flawlessly.

THE LOOKS
Sleek new lines are abundant on the new Endeavor, and the interior has been updated as well. Our SE was fully loaded, and the interface for the audio and vehicle information was as good as we’ve seen – at any price.

THE COOLEST THING
Active Skid and Traction Control are now standard, as is two-toned leather interior for the SE, which is what we drove. Any time a company throws us bones like that as standard equipment, they deserve a pat on the back.

DID YOU KNOW?
The V6 makes 225 hp and moves the Endeavor with 255 lb. feet of torque, which is the truer measure of how fast the vehicle goes. And this crossover has no problem getting up and going. Very impressive pick up and over all performance.

PRIME SAYS
The Mitsubishi companies have been around since 1870, and show no signs of slowing down. Their new line up, coupled with the new showroom in Sioux Falls portend continued success stateside for a storied company.
