Two Wheel Drive
In March every year, the staff of your favorite Sioux Falls men’s magazine heads east and north to the Minneapolis Auto Show – among the top 20 largest in the country.
It is an impressive beast, and the April edition that follows is always a big hit.
During a recent editorial meeting, it was suggested that we give the same treatment to another form of transportation – the motorbike.
Made sense, especially in July, with the Hot Harley Nights benefit smack dab in the middle of the month and the roar and rumble of pipes reminding us that summer is finally here.
But there was also another thought: with $5 a gallon gas around the corner, we thought we should talk to people who can make your spring, summer, and fall transportation needs a lot less expensive and a lot more fun.
We have a conversation with the folks from J & L Harley-Davidson about their huge fundraising efforts and show you a timeline of their 105 year-old motorcycles.
We also interview Jim LeTendre from Power Broker’s, Inc. and let you in on their secret – there are a lot of great buys in the used motor sport market.
Don’t worry, we didn’t forget the non-motorized versions. The good folks at Prairie Cycles shared six new models with us.
Enjoy the ride.
