Live Better
One of my favorite dead French guys, Voltaire, once said, “Nothing would be more tiresome than eating if God had not made it a pleasure as well as a necessity.” Ain’t it the truth? Food is right up there with breathing on the necessity scale, but you don’t see any TV networks called the Breathing Channel do you? Eating makes us happy—that we know—but too often we don’t recognize the impact eating has on our health. Too many people live under the mistaken impression that healthy food just can’t taste good. Well it just ain’t so and this month we’re here to prove it.
The crack staff at Prime has put together a series of articles that will change your definition of eating well. Want 10 tips on how to jump start weight loss? We’ve got it. Looking for places where you can shop for healthier food? Done. Ever wonder what’s in your favorite dipping sauce? Got that too. Part of our mission here at Prime is to give you the info you need to live life at its fullest. Good food is the fuel for an active, happy life. What are you running in your tank?
Also this month, our golf pro, Todd Kolb tells how to begin and end the golf swing. If you start and end correctly, what could possibly go wrong in the middle? Well, that’s a whole ‘nother article.
Music guru Scott Hudson shares his top 100 CDs of the past 25 years. You KajaGooGoo fans may be a little disappointed.
Ted Heeren travels to visit the spot where South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa converge, Ted tried to put a foot in each state, but with only two feet and three states, it got a little Twisteresque. Use your imagination.
Orty and Mr. Know It All share their learned opinions on such things as fighting, Brett Favre, and Cougars. Find another magazine with those three things in the same issue and I’ll buy you a beer.
Cheers,
John
