Orty, I’m impressed! You don’t hear a lot of Jim Burt references these days. You are obviously a dedicated follower of local sportscaster legends and lore. If only we could get Ovenden or Thor to revive ‘ol Jimmy B’s computer picks segment. That would be classic! P.S. I’m so glad that Travis “I announced the death of Corey Stringer with an inappropriate ear to ear grin” Fossing is no longer polluting our local sportscasts.

I golfed a 14 on hole number 10 in Owatonna, MN country club in a regional golf meet way back in high school. I hit 3 out of bounds in a row. Just though you should know that. I’ll have a beer now.

Sioux Falls offers some of the best golfing for any city in the US and as far as area courses, you can’t beat Vermillion, Brookings and Yankton.

I don’t think so. In every sport, winning streaks always come to that same inevitable conclusion. You’re gonna lose. It’s not a question of if, but when. The important thing is how you move forward, and I think the Storm have built a winning tradition that both the players and fans can rally around.

I’m glad you’ve taken the time to comment, but it’s only an opinion and I’m really sorry that you spent the time to sit in those million dollar arenas without your friends. Could it be that you just have better friends here than you did at those other venues?

I agree, I enjoy going to games with friends and family as well because I enjoy spending time with them.
